Alfa 5GHz Outdoor Omni Antenna 15dBi N-Female

The ALFA AOA-5815 is an outdoor omnidirectional antenna for the 5.1-5.9 GHz frequency range, providing 15 dBi gain with 50-ohm impedance and an N Female connector. Its horizontal beam width is 360 degrees, while the vertical beam width is 7 degrees, giving the antenna full azimuth coverage with a comparatively narrow vertical radiation pattern. It supports vertical polarization and can also be installed for horizontal polarization when required. The antenna is specified for IEEE 802.11a Wireless LAN, 5.1-5.9 GHz ISM applications, 5.3 GHz and 5.4 GHz band applications, 5.8 GHz UNII applications, unlicensed European 5.4 GHz applications, 5.8 GHz wireless video systems, and WiMAX technology.

The antenna is built with a fiberglass housing and is intended for all-weather operation, with an operating temperature range from -40 °C to +80 °C. It measures 740 × 68 mm and weighs 440 g. Power handling is rated at 50 W, while VSWR is specified at no more than 1.5. The AOA-5815 includes DC short lightning protection and is supplied with a tilt-and-swivel mast mount, mounting bracket, and hardware for installation on masts up to 2 inches in outside diameter; the specified mounting range is 32-45 mm. The antenna is also RoHS compliant. These mechanical and mounting characteristics support fixed outdoor deployment while allowing the antenna angle and polarization orientation to be adjusted to suit the installation.
