UISP EdgeSwitch 10X

The EdgeSwitch 10X switch is an effective solution for small networks with a significant amount of traffic. Thanks to its high performance hardware, the device is able to provide uninterrupted operation even under peak loads, which is especially important when the model is used as a switching node for multiple network segments.

For convenience and greater flexibility when integrating into existing projects, two types of power supply are provided for the device: through a conventional 24VDC power supply unit, as well as using PoE 24V technology. It should be noted that the model also supports PoE Passthrough on the eighth port, which allows you to distribute power to the device connected to it.

To find out the status of the ports, simply look at the LED indication. This is a quick way to get information about the activity and health of a particular interface. More detailed and detailed data is provided in the web interface of the EdgeOS operating system, under which the switch is running. This software was developed specifically for this line of devices and allows you to quickly and easily make changes to any configuration parameter EdgeSwitch 10X.

The switch itself has 8 Ethernet ports with bandwidth up to 1000 Mbps each, as well as two slots for SFP modules. The latter can be used to organize high-speed data transfer between the device and another switch or router, as well as to provide a backup channel in case of failure of the main one.

To maintain statistics in the background, data is constantly collected on the switch's performance. Once analyzed, a visual graph of device performance is created and system logs are recorded. Viewing the latter allows you to quickly find the source of the problem in the event of a malfunction.
