Ubiquiti Alarm Hub Kit Smart Alarm Management System

The UP-AlarmHub-Kit is an indoor wall-mounted alarm hub designed to connect multiple alarm inputs in one centralized device. It provides 32 input terminals for alarm sensors, along with one dedicated emergency input, allowing a structured alarm installation to be organized around a single hub. The digital inputs support alarm sensors with EOL resistors from 1 to 5.6 kΩ, and 1 kΩ resistors are included. This helps define how sensor circuits can be supervised and connected within the supported resistance range. For output control, the hub includes two wet or dry output relays. In wet mode, each relay supports 12V DC at 1A, while dry mode supports 30V DC at 1A.

The product also provides auxiliary power output for sensors, separated between the right and left sides, with three 12V DC outputs on each side and 1A total available per side. This layout supports a clear division between sensor inputs, emergency input, relay outputs, and sensor power. Together, these characteristics make the device suitable for indoor alarm systems where multiple wired sensors, relay-controlled outputs, and auxiliary sensor power need to be arranged within one managed hardware unit.

The hub is powered through PoE++ or PoE+++ and can also use a 12V SLA battery as part of its power method. Available output power depends on the PoE input level: PoE+++ input provides up to 68W, while PoE++ input provides up to 42W. The PoE interface includes one PoE++/PoE+++ input rated at 54V DC with 60W or 90W input capability, and one PoE+ output rated at 54V DC and 30W. Maximum device power consumption is 90W, which defines the upper power requirement of the unit. Battery charging is provided for a 12V SLA backup battery at 0.3A, supporting the battery input listed for the device.

Network connectivity is handled through one 10/100 MbE RJ45 port, giving the hub a wired network interface for integration with the supported UniFi Protect software environment. Local controls include one factory reset button and two dry/wet switches, matching the relay mode options available on the hardware. The device also includes W/B LEDs, giving a basic status indication directly on the unit. These power, network, and control elements define how the hub is supplied, connected, configured, and supported during operation.

The UP-AlarmHub-Kit is built for indoor installation and uses a wall-mount format. Its enclosure measures 379 x 355 x 105 mm, providing enough physical space for the supported input, relay, power, and battery-related hardware within a single housing. The device weighs 8.3 kg, while the mount weighs 624 g, so the installation should account for both the hub and its mounting hardware. The enclosure is made from SGCC steel with a polycarbonate cover, combining a steel housing with a cover material identified separately for the product. The mounting material is also SGCC steel, aligning the mount construction with the main hardware design.

Operating conditions are defined for temperatures from -10 to 40° C and humidity from 5 to 95% without condensation, which clarifies the environmental limits for indoor placement. The hub is marked as NDAA compliant and carries CE, FCC, and IC certifications. Software support is based on UniFi Protect version 7.0.88 and later. Mobile app compatibility is also defined, with UniFi Protect for iOS version 3.3.0 and later and UniFi Protect for Android version 3.2.0 and later.
