19-Inch Rack Power Distribution

The PDU08P is a compact 1U power distribution unit designed to provide eight EU sockets for network and technical equipment installed in a standard 19-inch rack. It offers a practical way to distribute mains power to switches, routers, servers, storage devices, monitoring equipment, and other rack-mounted components from one centralized connection point. The horizontal format uses only one rack unit, helping preserve valuable cabinet space while keeping power connections accessible and organized. An EU mains plug allows the unit to be connected to a compatible wall outlet or upstream power source, while the integrated diode provides a visible indication of operating status.
The enclosure combines metal and plastic components and is intended for indoor use. Its rack-mount design allows the PDU to be installed alongside patch panels, network switches, shelves, and cable-management accessories in equipment cabinets and technical rooms. Eight sockets provide a shared distribution point for several devices, reducing the need for separate extension leads inside the rack and helping keep power cabling easier to manage. Before installation, the total connected load must remain within the rating of the PDU, supply cable, plug, and upstream circuit. The unit should be used only with compatible EU plugs and sockets and installed in a dry indoor environment with suitable electrical protection.
