GNSS Vehicle Tracking
Teltonika FMB920 is a compact GPS tracker designed for basic track-and-trace and fleet management applications. Its small 79 x 43 x 12 mm housing and 54 g weight make it suitable for installation in vehicles where space is limited, including light vehicles, motorbikes, courier delivery fleets, rental vehicles, leasing fleets, and insurance telematics use cases. The device combines GSM/GPRS, GNSS, and Bluetooth® LE technologies in one unit, using internal high-gain GNSS and GSM antennas to support vehicle positioning and communication without external antenna installation.
GNSS support includes GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU and related assistance systems, helping the tracker maintain positioning capability across different operating conditions. A 33-channel receiver, fast hot start, and stated position accuracy of under 2.5 CEP support reliable location reporting for routine fleet visibility. Cellular communication is based on GSM with quad-band 2G operation and GPRS data transfer, while SMS support provides an additional channel for text and data communication. Bluetooth® 4.0 + LE expands the tracker’s role beyond location reporting by allowing connection with compatible peripherals such as EYE beacons and sensors, OBDII dongles, headsets, barcode scanners, and Bluetooth® LE beacons or sensors.
Monitoring And Control
FMB920 supports practical vehicle monitoring through a focused set of inputs and outputs. A digital input can be used to monitor ignition, door, or alarm button status, while the digital output enables remote immobilization scenarios when connected appropriately. The analog input extends the device beyond basic status detection by supporting monitoring applications such as temperature, humidity, or liquid level tracking. Built-in accelerometer-based functions add event awareness for driving and vehicle movement, including crash detection, towing detection, excessive idling detection, unplug detection, over-speeding detection, and green driving scenarios.
The tracker also supports geofence, trip, jamming detection, GNSS fuel counter, and DOUT control via call, making it suitable for basic fleet control tasks without adding unnecessary complexity. Configuration and firmware management can be handled through FOTA Web, FOTA, Teltonika Configurator via USB or Bluetooth® wireless technology, and the FMBT mobile application. The device operates from a 6–30 V DC input with overvoltage protection and includes a 170 mAh Li-Ion backup battery for additional continuity. Its operating environment range, IP54 ingress protection rating, and non-condensing humidity tolerance support use in typical vehicle installation conditions.
Worldwide version. 2G (GSM): B2, B3, B5, B8. Please check if 2G is supported in your country before order.
