The 2.4 GHz band supports speeds up to 574 Mbps, following the 802.11b/g/n/ax standards, and is powered by a 2.5 dBi gain antenna, making it ideal for broader, lower-speed coverage. Meanwhile, the 5 GHz band features Wi-Fi 6, offering up to 2400 Mbps under the 802.11a/n/ac/ax standards, with a high-gain 7 dBi antenna for faster, shorter-range connections. Very good product with tons of features. Brilliant for professionals/advanced end users but most likely way too difficult to configure for "Mr. Joe Average." One star dropped off because of one missing critical feature: The PoE in is nice, but missing (even passive) PoE out would be really needed. Typical scenario would be to install this next to an existing IP camera exploiting the already existing cabling & PoE supply. Daisy chaining the camera to the second RJ45 port (even in different VLAN) would be easy and convenient, but then either the camera or the WAP would still miss power supply. Add the PoE out support and then I give the 5 stars.
