Ubiquiti Retrofit PSU 12V

The Ubiquiti Retrofit PSU 12V is a purpose-built power supply designed for reliable operation of the UniFi Retrofit Hub in professional access control installations. The power supply delivers a stable 12 V DC output with up to 5 A, providing power to devices with a maximum output of 60 W. It draws up to 80 W from the mains, ensuring reliable operation with the UniFi Retrofit Hub. The wide 100–240V AC input range allows the unit to be deployed globally without additional adapters. With an efficiency rating of 85%, it reduces energy loss and minimizes heat generation during continuous operation. Its compact form factor (127 × 76 × 35 mm) and solid construction make it easy to install inside technical cabinets, enclosures, or retrofit setups where space is limited. The PSU is fully NDAA compliant and certified under CE, FCC, and IC, making it suitable for enterprise, government, and regulated environments where compliance, safety, and long-term reliability are critical.

The Retrofit PSU 12V supports an optional 12V SLA backup battery, ensuring continuous operation during power outages and unexpected electrical interruptions. An integrated charging circuit provides a controlled 0.5A charging current, maintaining the battery safely and extending its service life. Clearly separated terminals allow straightforward wiring for AC input, DC output to the Retrofit Hub, and DC input/output for the battery connection. This design makes the unit ideal for access control and security systems where uptime and system availability are essential. The power supply is engineered to operate reliably within an ambient temperature range of –10 to 40°C and humidity levels of up to 90% non-condensing, making it suitable for indoor technical rooms and equipment cabinets.
