Outdoor LTE Router
QuRouter 240S is an outdoor industrial LTE Cat 4 and Wi-Fi router built around an all-in-one enclosure that combines cellular and wireless connectivity with integrated omnidirectional LTE and Wi-Fi antennas. Its mobile connection supports LTE Cat 4 speeds of up to 150 Mbps, while 3G and 2G operation provide fallback across the specified supported bands. Wi-Fi can operate in Access Point or Station mode using IEEE 802.11b/g/n, with up to 50 simultaneous wireless connections. For wired networking, the router provides one WAN port that can be reconfigured as LAN and one LAN port, both operating at 10/100 Mbps. Bridge mode is also available for creating a direct connection between the mobile ISP and a device on the LAN side.
The router is designed for outdoor deployment, with an IP67-rated enclosure and an operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C. An external Mini SIM holder simplifies SIM access without opening the enclosure. Power can be supplied through passive PoE over the LAN port, and a 24 V 0.8 A passive PoE power supply is included; the router is not compatible with IEEE 802.3af or 802.3at PoE. A four-pin DC input supporting 9–30 VDC is located inside the enclosure and requires the additional QuPS4 accessory for external access. The same enclosure also integrates one digital input and one digital output for event-based operation.
Remote Network Management
QuRouter 240S combines routing, resilience, security, and remote administration tools for installations that need more than basic Internet access. Static routing is available as standard, with optional BGP, OSPF v2, and RIP v1/v2 dynamic routing. Wired and mobile WAN connections can be used for automatic failover, while load balancing can distribute Internet traffic across multiple WAN links. Connection supervision includes Ping Reboot, Wget reboot, Periodic Reboot, LCP, and ICMP link inspection. QoS can prioritize traffic by source, destination, service, protocol, or port, and VLAN separation can be applied by port or tag. The router can also enforce a configurable data limit for the SIM card and provides web filtering through blacklist and whitelist rules.
Security and remote access functions include firewall control, NAT, NAT-T, DMZ, attack prevention, and flexible packet access control. VPN options cover OpenVPN, IPsec, GRE, PPTP, L2TP, Stunnel, and SSTP, allowing several methods of secure tunnelling and remote connectivity within the functions defined for the platform. Administration is available through a web interface, CLI, SSH, SNMP, JSON-RPC, MQTT, and Teltonika RMS. Firmware can be updated from a file or server, while FOTA and RMS support remote firmware or configuration updates. Configuration profiles, backup, restore, and the option to keep current settings during firmware updates help simplify ongoing maintenance across deployed units.
