4G LTE Antenna Kit
The LTE-IAB-5dBi kit contains two 4G LTE antennas for connecting compatible equipment through SMA Male interfaces. Each antenna covers the 690–2690 MHz frequency range, providing one antenna design for operation across the supported spectrum. A gain of 5 dBi supports signal transmission and reception within that range, while the 50-ohm impedance matches the stated RF interface characteristics. The antennas use vertical polarization, so they should be positioned vertically during installation. Each antenna uses an omnidirectional radiation pattern, distributing radio energy around the antenna rather than concentrating it in one narrow direction. This makes installation less dependent on aiming toward a single point and is useful where the direction of the serving signal may vary. The specified VSWR is below 2.5, describing the antenna’s matching across its operating range, while the maximum input power is 50 W. Together, these characteristics define the intended RF operating conditions across the listed frequency range. The two antennas can therefore be installed as a consistent set, with the same connector, polarization, gain, impedance, and radiation characteristics on both antenna connections.
Compact Antenna Design
The antennas are built with ABS, copper, and PCB components and use a slim housing measuring 190 mm in length and 17 mm in width. This elongated format keeps the antenna body compact while providing a vertical installation profile. The SMA Male connector attaches directly to a compatible SMA Female port, avoiding an additional adapter when the device uses the matching interface. The drawing shows an articulated connector section that allows the antenna body to be positioned after attachment. This construction supports placement where connector orientation and available space influence how the antenna is aligned.
An operating temperature range from −40 °C to +80 °C allows the antennas to be used across the environmental conditions specified for the product. Their compact dimensions suit installations where two external antennas must be fitted without long cable runs or separate mounting hardware. Because both units share the same physical and RF specifications, they provide a uniform appearance and consistent connection method when installed together. The direct SMA Male connection, vertical polarization, and adjustable form make setup straightforward: attach each antenna to a compatible port, position the body vertically, and allow sufficient clearance around the 190 mm antenna length. The kit combines two matching LTE antennas in a simple direct-connect format for supported equipment.
