The Hikvision DS-KD-KP is a keypad module for a modular video intercom door station, adding direct numeric input for access and calling functions. Users can enter a PIN code to open the door or use the keypad to call an indoor station, allowing the same module to handle both controlled entry and visitor communication. Its 12-button layout provides the physical interface for these functions, while backlight compensation behind the keypad buttons supports clearer visibility of the controls. The module runs on Linux and uses an embedded high-performance processor, providing the internal platform for its keypad operation within the modular door station system.

For installation, the DS-KD-KP supports both flush mounting and surface mounting, so the mounting method can be selected according to the door-station configuration.
