Choosing the right power adapter

Each AC/DC power adapter is specially manufactured to accept a precise AC input, it normally takes the typical output from an AC outlet in your house, and changes it into a standard DC output. Therefore, each electronic device is made to accept a certain electrical DC current. The main idea is to match the DC output of the adapter to the DC input of your product. It’s not an issue if the adapter has a higher mAh rating (also known as A, or Amps)  your product will only consume as much power as it needs and not more.

Power adapters for MikroTik equipment

These universal power adapters were specifically designed to work with MikroTik equipment, but they will perfectly function with any other product as long as you can match the correct and AC/DC values. As far as power supply units for our MiktroTik products are concerned, we stock HotSwap PSU for Mikrotiks own CCR1072 and CCR1072-1G-8S+ routers, gigabit PoE converters, open frame PSUs for MikroTiks range of industrial-grade routers, outdoor PSUs for the netPower product line, and various other power supply units for MikroTik’s range of networking products.
