SuperLink Connectivity
The Ubiquiti USL-Relay is a compact SuperLink relay designed to integrate third-party sensors, signaling devices, and automation equipment into the UniFi Protect ecosystem. Using proprietary SuperLink wireless connectivity, the relay enables reliable communication over distances of up to 2 km, reducing the need for extensive cabling in distributed installations. Compatible with the UniFi Protect application suite, it provides a practical solution for extending monitoring and control capabilities across commercial, industrial, and security environments. The relay operates on regional SuperLink frequencies and features a 1 dBi antenna with up to 14 dBm transmit power for dependable wireless performance.
Its compact 50 × 47.6 × 28 mm housing allows installation in space-constrained locations, while support for adhesive, wall, and DIN rail mounting provides flexibility for different deployment scenarios. Constructed from durable polycarbonate materials and weighing only 100 g, the USL-Relay is designed for professional installations where reliability, compact size, and seamless integration are essential. A SuperLink Gateway is required to enable communication within the SuperLink ecosystem.
Flexible I/O Control
Built for versatile device integration, the Ubiquiti USL-Relay features dedicated input and output interfaces that simplify connections with external sensors, alarms, access control systems, and signaling equipment. Two dry-contact inputs support open or short-to-ground detection and include integrated 5 V TVS protection for enhanced circuit resilience. The relay outputs use dry-contact terminals rated for both DC and AC applications, supporting loads from 12 to 48 VDC or 12 to 240 VAC with up to 10 A per port. Power is supplied through a 12 to 48 VDC input and is safeguarded by integrated over-temperature protection that activates at 85°C.
Status monitoring is simplified through dedicated LED indicators, including an RGBW status LED and separate indicators for signal inputs and relay outputs. Additional management features include factory reset and test buttons for straightforward commissioning and troubleshooting. The relay is certified to CE, FCC, and IC standards, is NDAA compliant, and operates in temperatures from 0 to 40°C with humidity levels of 10% to 90% non-condensing. Configuration and monitoring are available through UniFi Protect web and mobile applications.
