Teltonika Eye Beacon

Teltonika EYE Beacon BTSID1 is a Bluetooth® Low Energy ID beacon designed for identifying and tracking assets in professional environments. It is suitable for traceability, delivery tracking, and monitoring movable objects such as trailers, containers, tractor attachments, tools, and inventory. The device can also be used in indoor item-tracking solutions across warehouses, hospitals, transport hubs, and other industrial areas where compact wireless identification is required. The beacon supports iBeacon and Eddystone protocols, allowing it to work in different Bluetooth-based tracking and identification setups.

It is also compatible with the Teltonika firmware platform, which extends its functionality with battery level and magnetic field detection status. Core functions include Beacon ID, LED indication, hibernate mode, and magnet detection on new hardware revisions. With Bluetooth® 4.2 compliance and Bluetooth® 5.2 certification, the device provides wireless connectivity over a range of up to 80 metres. Available transmission power levels of up to 8 dBm allow the beacon to be adapted to different deployment needs, while the dedicated Teltonika mobile app enables configuration, data scanning, and updates from a mobile device.

The EYE Beacon BTSID1 is built for long-term use in environments where compact size, reliable mounting, and protection against exposure are important. Its IP67-rated casing helps protect the device from dust and water ingress, making it suitable for demanding tracking applications in logistics, agriculture, construction, and industrial indoor locations. The housing includes two mounting holes for screws, leash, or strip installation, and tape mounting is also supported, giving installers flexibility when attaching the beacon to different types of assets. Measuring 56.6 mm × 38 mm × 13 mm and weighing 18 g, the beacon is small enough to be mounted on portable equipment or inventory without adding significant bulk.

It uses a non-replaceable CR2450 lithium manganese dioxide battery with a total capacity of 600 mAh. Battery life depends on the transmission interval: over 4 years at a 3-second interval, over 8 years at the default 5-second interval, and over 10 years at a 10-second interval. The device is designed for operation from -20°C to +60°C and supports non-condensing humidity from 0% to 100%. It is available with custom logo options upon request under special conditions and carries certifications including CE RED, FCC, UKCA, RoHS, E-mark, EAC, ANATEL, REACH, SIRIM QAS, SDPPI POSTEL, TELEC, and IP rating.
