Detailed description
The LC/UPC to SC/UPC fiber optic patch cord is deployed in fiber optic network connection between fiber optic patch panel to the fiber optic devices. It consists of a fiber optic patch cable with one end terminated with the LC/UPC connector and the other end terminated with the SC/UPC connector. It is suitable to be deployed if the connection required LC to SC interface.
SC means Subscriber Connector, a general purpose push/pull type connector. It is a square, snap-on connector that locks into place with a simple movement. LC stands for Lucent Connector. It is a small form-factor fiber optic connector, half the size of the ST. Incorrect connection of fiber is prevented by a special key. The UPC (Ultra Physical Contact) type fiber optic connectors lower the attenuation loss with a better surface finish.
