Alfa 4G Camp-Pro 2+ EU – Mobile 4G/LTE WiFi Sharing Kit for Home, RV & Boat

The ALFA 4G CampPro 2+ is a mobile Internet sharing system designed to distribute a cellular data connection over WiFi for use on boats, RVs, and mobile houses. It works with 4G LTE, 3G, and 2G services and is intended to share one mobile data connection with multiple WiFi devices. The system is presented as an easy-to-set-up solution for mobile environments, while vehicle power surge protection addresses installation in vehicles where the power supply may be subject to voltage fluctuations. This combination makes the CampPro 2+ suitable for locations where cellular Internet needs to be made available locally to several wireless clients. It is specified for operation from -20°C to 40°C, with storage humidity of 10% to 90% non-condensing.

Local wireless access is provided through IEEE 802.11b/g/n, with 802.11n data rates of up to 300 Mbps, while 802.11g and 802.11b support lower maximum rates. The WiFi connection operates with 20 or 40 MHz channel widths and supports a range of wireless security options, including 64/128-bit WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA-EAP with PEAP/TTLS, WPA2-PSK, WPA2-EAP, WPA Mixed, and 802.1x authentication. These options allow the local wireless network to use different authentication and encryption methods according to the intended network configuration. LED indicators for Power, LAN, WAN, WLAN, and USB provide visible status information for the main connections and operating functions.

The CampPro 2+ combines the R36AH unit with a Tube-U4Gv2 cellular modem and separate indoor and outdoor antennas. The Tube-U4Gv2 uses a standard 6 PIN SIM card and a Mini-USB 2.0 interface, with Power/Connection LED indication and a 5 V ±5% power requirement. Its cellular data capability reaches up to 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink on LTE FDD, while LTE TDD supports up to 130 Mbps downlink and 35 Mbps uplink. The modem also supports DC-HSDPA, HSUPA, WCDMA, EDGE, and GPRS data modes, providing operation across the cellular technologies listed for the system. An N female connector is provided for the modem antenna connection.

For cellular reception, the supplied AOA-4G-5AM outdoor omnidirectional antenna covers 791–960 MHz, 1710–2170 MHz, and 2300–2700 MHz and uses an N male connector. The indoor ARS-N05 omnidirectional antenna operates from 2.4 to 2.5 GHz, provides 5 dBi gain, and uses an RP-SMA male connector. The R36AH itself measures 93 x 70 x 26 mm and requires 12 V DC power. The 4G CampPro 2+ EU version supports LTE FDD bands B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B20 and LTE TDD bands B38/B40/B41, together with WCDMA B1/B5/B8 and GSM B3/B8. This configuration is intended for use across EMEA, Korea, and Thailand, with compatibility depending on the cellular bands supported by the intended mobile network operator.
