Teltonika FMC650

Teltonika FMC650 is a 4G LTE Cat 1 tracker designed for advanced fleet and asset applications that require broad connectivity, precise positioning, and external antenna support. It is intended for use cases such as construction vehicle solutions, water transport monitoring, agriculture transport solutions, cold chain monitoring, and international logistics solutions. The tracker combines LTE Cat 1, GSM, GPRS, GNSS, and Bluetooth® LE technologies, with reliable 4G communication supported by fallback to 2G networks. This combination helps maintain fleet communication across different operating environments while keeping SMS available for text and data exchange.

Positioning is handled through a separate GNSS module with dual-channel L1 + L5 support, allowing the device to gather location data using GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BEIDOU, QZSS, and DGPS. The receiver supports 75 acquisition/tracking channels on L1 and 60 tracking channels on L5, while position accuracy of under 2.5 m CEP and fast start times support dependable location reporting for demanding tracking tasks. External high-gain GNSS and cellular antennas provide installation flexibility where antenna placement matters. The device is housed in a 105 x 78 x 29 mm enclosure and weighs 199 g, making it suitable for integration into vehicles and equipment that require a feature-rich telematics terminal rather than a simple compact tracker.

FMC650 is built for installations that require more than location reporting, offering a wide interface set for vehicle data, external peripherals, and fleet control functions. It supports four digital inputs, four digital outputs, four analog inputs, 1-Wire, two RS232 ports, one RS485 port, two CAN J1939 interfaces, one CAN J1708 interface, and K-Line. These interfaces allow the tracker to read data from heavy vehicles and special machinery, including standard CAN FMS and raw J1939 data, while switchable CAN terminals on CAN1 and CAN2 support connection to CAN lines with multiple nodes. Tachograph live data can be read through K-Line, Tacho CAN, or FMS connections, and the device also supports DDD download and tacho online data for driver and fleet management workflows.

Serial interfaces enable connection to devices such as thermographs, sensors, RFID readers, Garmin equipment, carrier freezers, Iridium SBD devices, tire pressure measurement sensors, and fuel monitoring solutions. Bluetooth® 5.2 + LE adds support for temperature and humidity sensors and universal Bluetooth® LE sensors. Operational scenarios include green or eco driving, over-speeding detection, jamming detection, excessive idling detection, towing detection, crash detection, immobilizer use, geofencing, trip detection, odometer, and offline tracking. Configuration and firmware management are supported through FOTA Web, FOTA, and Teltonika Configurator.
